Detroit Symphony trombonist and Kresge Arts in Detroit Fellow David Binder presents a concert of solo trombone and string quartet, featuring virtuosic and plaintive music by living composers of the 20th and 21st century, including works by Joan Tower, Christian Lindberg, Scott Good, Håkan Sundin, Martin Åsander, and Gerald Cohen. The quartet features all members of the DSO: Sheryl Hwangbo, Jiamin Wang, James Van Valkenburg, and Úna O'Riordan.
